Brockney C has had a love for music for as long as he can remember and it is a passion that is strong in his family. He remembers recording the charts on a Sunday and editing out the presenter by rewinding the tape a bit with his fingers. And if he didn't like a track he would pull it back and wait for the next one. So in a way he has been doing mixtapes since he was about 5! He was collecting records from that age too and by his early teens was having a play with them on some of the parties that the older lads were running. This was around the time of the early House and Rave scene in the UK. By the time he was 16 he had a set of decks – a pretty beaten up set making it a challenging time to learn!

Through the 1990's Brockney (then known as Fusion) played Rave and Jungle at many parties and also played R&B and Bashment on Derby's Star FM

He took a step back from music for a few years then he had quite a profound time in 2009. Whilst recovering from a coma after a serious head injury a friend and former DJ from House FM, Simon Page, got in touch with him. We swapped mixes and he invited me onto his show from which he then got his own show on the station. This inspired him to concentrate fully on his talent and passion and feel blessed to be able to share it with others.

Since then Brockney has played at a number of venues throughout London including Notting Hill Carnival, Proud 2, Ministry, Pacha, The White House, The Warehouse, Sidings and Fire to name just a few. His main style is House, right across the spectrum, and also plays old skool Jungle, Garage and well as R&B and Bashment – He loves music of all types so long as it has some passion.

He also has a degree in Sound Engineering and is embarking on a production project at present. hire me
